This website is designed with the idea to bring more awarness to mental health.
We want to make it clear why it is important that we take care of our own
mental wellbeing and pay more attention to the wellbeing of other's.

"Mental health," this pair of words seems to be heard a bit more and more often as time passes by. However, it unfortunately seems to continue to be a topic that is viewed by many as taboo or of which plenty of misinformation has been strewn about. So what exactly is mental health. For a purely factual definition, let us look towards how the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) defines mental health: "Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices."

It is extremely important that we view our mental health the same way we view our physical health. That means not turning our heads the other way when we see others suffering from poor mental health. If we all showed each other more support and respect to one another we can all continue to better our mental wellbeing. It is neccesary to understand that there are several resources out there for those who are struggling. Regardless of what you may be going through, know that there are people out there who are willing to listen and want to help you get the help you deserve.
